V-Shaped Zafu & Zabuton Sit Set - Blue Mandala
This sit set was designed to offer you the best possible comfort, especially in yin yoga and restorative yoga. 100% made in Quebec.
V-Shaped Zafu:
An ergonomic inclined cushion ideal for meditation as it facilitates the tilting of the pelvis and helps maintain a sitting posture over long periods of time.
The cushion tips comfortably support the upper (and top) thighs.
Its V-shape allows the insertion of the heel in the hollow of the V during the semi-lotus posture.
Positions:
- Flat in semi-lotus posture - the hollow of the V allows heel insertion;
- On the edge in kneeling posture;
- Tightened tips in kneeling posture.
Allows many uses in restorative yoga and yin yoga:
- Under the buttocks in Shoulder stand (Sarvangasana) posture;
- Under the chest in Fish (Matsyasana) posture;
- Under the knees in Corpse (Savasana) posture.
Zabuton:
This meditation mat stands out with its round shape, it allows you to place the buckwheat hulls where your body needs support.
Zabuton is a japanese word meaning floor cushion to sit. Usually placed under the zafu or bench for sitting comfort of ankles and knees during meditation, you can also use it to support many yoga and meditation positions.
